Kremlin declines to confirm Witkoff and Kushner Moscow visit

Earlier, a source told Russian agency TASS that Witkoff and Kushner would travel to Moscow and Kyiv respectively for consultations on a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict. Peskov said renewed Russia-Ukraine negotiations cannot be excluded, though no concrete premises exist yet, and suggested Washington would demand Kyiv cease threats against civil aviation. Peskov also warned that any European efforts to produce long-range missiles in Ukraine would make such facilities legitimate targets for Russian forces. Ukrainian officials have long sought a visit from the envoys, who have repeatedly traveled to Moscow but never Kyiv, a perceived slight.
