President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine will refrain from air strikes during the upcoming visits of US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Kyiv and Moscow, and demanded Russia do the same. The envoys will visit Moscow first and Kyiv on Sunday for ceasefire negotiations. Zelensky confirmed Ukraine will ensure the "normal functioning of Russian airspace" for the negotiators' safe travel, mirroring previous diplomatic visits. Zelensky stated Ukraine will not conduct air strikes during the period needed for the talks and logistics, insisting Russia must reciprocally guarantee a similar pause in its own air attacks.
