Ukraine weighs three weapons to counter Russian jet drones

Ukrainian General Staff sources identified three potential weapons against Russian jet-powered drones, including an aircraft-type platform capable of flying 500-700 km/h, as reported by LIGA.net in mid-July. The other two prospective systems were interceptor drones and smart missiles made from inexpensive components. Sources did not disclose further details or readiness levels for security reasons. Russia has recently intensified attacks using jet drones, which are harder for air defense to shoot down. Air Force spokesman Ihnat said Ukraine cannot yet rely on interceptors but uses other means.
