Putin, Witkoff, Kushner Hold Three-Hour Talks on Ukraine in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow for over three hours to discuss resolving the Ukraine conflict. The Kremlin characterized the talks as substantive and constructive. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said Russia provided clear assessments of the battlefield situation. Putin thanked President Trump for his efforts and praised the American diplomats' preparation. Ushakov noted the US representatives presented several proposals for settling the crisis. The American envoys departed for Kyiv with notes from the Kremlin meeting to continue discussions with Ukrainian officials. Putin also raised concerns about what he described as Kyiv's rehabilitation of Nazi figures.
