Russian drone strike kills three in central Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast
A Russian drone strike on central Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Oblast killed three people, including an 11-year-old boy and a 19-year-old girl, and wounded a 40-year-old woman. The attack destroyed a private house, outbuildings, and a garage, sparking a fire. Regional governor Oleh Syniehubov reported the strike hit a private home on Saturday evening, with the death toll later rising to three: the two children and a 45-year-old man. He stated "almost the entire family" perished, while the wounded woman was hospitalized with severe injuries. Mayor Halyna Minayeva confirmed the attack targeted the city center. Two 75-year-old women and a 28-year-old man also suffered acute stress reactions. The strike is part of ongoing Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
