Zelensky tells Tusk Ukraine is ready for trilateral talks with US and Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk about preparations for potential trilateral technical-level talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia, stating that no obstacles exist on Ukraine's side. Zelensky emphasized that the American side must prepare and ensure Russia's readiness for the talks. The leaders also discussed preparing Ukraine's energy grid for winter and agreed to meet in person soon, with Zelensky thanking Poland for its support. Ukraine has previously signaled openness to such talks, with a possible energy ceasefire as a topic and Abu Dhabi as a potential venue. The US has reportedly proposed holding a trilateral technical meeting by the end of October.
