Zelensky says talks with Russia may resume after US envoys' visits
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that negotiations with Russia may resume, stating that key issues, including territorial ones, can only be resolved at the level of national leaders. According to Zelensky, US President's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, after visiting Russia and then Ukraine, have restarted the negotiation process. He noted that both sides will work towards resuming talks, with security guarantees and Ukraine's future also on the agenda. Zelensky said representatives from Ukraine, Europe, and the US will meet soon, possibly in Ukraine, and that a prosperity plan for Ukraine was discussed with American officials. He emphasized that reliable security and economic guarantees for the post-war period remain his top priority.
