Zelensky on Witkoff and Kushner talks: They did not come in vain

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said talks with US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were substantive and productive, stating the American officials "did not come in vain." Zelensky emphasized the importance of the visit and said key agenda issues were discussed in detail, noting that "nothing happens just like that" and that both sides are in constant dialogue. The president held a separate one-on-one meeting with Witkoff and Kushner in Kyiv, after which Ukraine, the US, and European countries agreed to continue talks toward a just peace, with the next round's format being coordinated.
