US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have arrived in Kyiv for peace negotiations, marking the first official US delegation visit to Ukraine since the war began over four years ago. The envoys, sent by President Donald Trump, will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has repeatedly expressed a desire to end the conflict. On Saturday, they held a three-hour meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, described as "constructive" by both sides. Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov said the US representatives presented ideas for a possible solution, while Putin announced a three-day ceasefire with Ukraine, now in effect, and Zelensky subsequently suspended attacks against Russia.
