US envoys have brought new, "more effective" proposals to Ukraine for ending the war with Russia, according to a senior Ukrainian presidential official, though no breakthroughs were announced. The envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, visited Kyiv after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
