Trump envoys visit Kyiv after Putin talks on Ukraine peace plan

The White House said the pair discussed "concrete plans" for next steps with Putin, which will be announced in coming weeks. Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov called the talks "extremely frank," noting Washington presented ideas for a possible agreement, while Russia expressed confidence it could conquer the rest of eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kiev is ready to suspend aerial attacks on cities involved in negotiations, and Putin ordered a three-day halt on strikes against Kiev during the envoys' visit. President Trump said the envoys carry a "proposal to end the war."
