US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff said Sunday that during talks in Moscow the previous day, the American side was presented with new ideas regarding a settlement in Ukraine. Speaking at a press conference in Kiev, Witkoff stated, "I think we achieved great progress in Moscow. We heard new ideas." He also referenced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's comments about a trilateral format, which Witkoff hopes will be announced soon, and stressed that all parties to the conflict must make compromises. Earlier on Sunday, another US negotiator, Jared Kushner, said he considers a negotiation format involving Washington, Moscow, and Kiev to be the "most productive" option.
