Zelensky meets Trump envoys in Kyiv for three rounds of talks on ceasefire and security guarantees

The talks spanned three rounds, with national security advisors from Germany, France, and the UK joining the final session. Witkoff described the discussions as "substantive and important," while Kushner stated Trump seeks a "lasting, sustainable peace" enabling Ukraine to develop as a major state. Zelensky noted the war will likely continue through winter, with Ukraine relying on a support package for air defense and energy. He said territorial issues should be discussed at the leaders' level, and announced new talks, though a trilateral Ukraine-US-Russia meeting may be announced soon.
