He expressed hope that recent efforts to resume talks will yield concrete results and open a path for further diplomacy. On September 5, US President's representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited Moscow, meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The following day, the American officials arrived in Kyiv for talks with the Ukrainian side and European partners.
