Ukraine Offers Three-Day Halt on Moscow Strikes for US Envoy Visit

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Putin ordered a three-day halt on strikes against Kyiv starting Saturday midnight. The US envoys arrived in Moscow on September 5 for talks on ending the war, with a planned visit to Kyiv on September 6. Zelensky also reported Russian strikes on Ukrainian airports in Kyiv and Boryspol overnight, calling them a response to American diplomatic efforts.
