Ukrainian forces strike Ryazan refinery, airfield, and three air defense targets

On the night of September 6, Ukrainian defense forces struck several Russian military and strategic targets, including an oil refinery in Ryazan, an airfield, and three air defense assets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strike on the Ryazan refinery caused a fire at the facility, which the General Staff said is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces. In the Rostov region, the "Rostov-on-Don" airfield was hit, also resulting in a fire. Additionally, Ukrainian forces targeted a Podlet radar station and two Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems. The extent of damage inflicted on the enemy is currently being assessed. The General Staff stated that work on key enemy targets is ongoing. Local Russian authorities did not identify the struck facility in Ryazan, but the Telegram channel Exilenova+ claimed it was the oil refinery.
