Zelenskyy to Russian Media: 'I'll Go to Moscow on a Rocket'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded sharply to a provocative question from Russian media at the UN General Assembly, saying he would travel to Moscow "on a rocket" when asked about a potential visit. The Kremlin has repeatedly stated that any meeting between Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin could only take place in Moscow, rejecting alternative negotiation venues. Zelenskyy also accused Putin of seeking to capture Ukrainian cities including Odesa, Kharkiv, and Dnipro. Zelenskyy addressed the UN General Assembly, warning of a difficult winter ahead and calling for an end to the war. Ukrainian forces have liberated 800 square kilometers of territory since early 2026, while Russian forces captured 890 square kilometers, resulting in a net Russian advance of only 90-100 square kilometers.
