Kyiv data center strikes disrupt internet for six providers

Russian strikes on Kyiv data centers have caused internet outages for multiple providers. The attack damaged critical infrastructure, disrupting services for thousands of households in the capital. MiroHost's data center was destroyed, affecting 95% of its foreign clients, though services remain online for them. Provider "Domonet" promised restored connectivity by 21:00 on September 24, while Faust/Fast.net reported outages after a strike on the Solomyansky district. Six providers—UTELS, Pavutyna, Etherlink, Crazy Network, Cityhost, and MiroHost—suffered significant damage over two days. Since early September, Russia has systematically targeted Ukrainian data centers and communication hubs, according to traffic exchange representative Anatoly Frolenkov. On September 23, attacks affected roughly 100,000 households in Kyiv and the region, with potential for further disruptions due to infrastructure damage and traffic redistribution.
