Zelensky announces joint tech production with top US firms

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced agreements with leading US companies on joint production and new investments in defense technologies, following a meeting in New York with over 30 firms and members of the Economic Advisory Group. The talks focused on helping Ukraine withstand the winter, with deals also reached on joint energy projects. Discussions covered creating a sovereign fund, war risk insurance, and financing currently available to American investors. Zelensky recently said Raytheon, which makes Patriot missile system rockets, is ready to establish production in Ukraine. Kyiv has asked President Donald Trump to speed up the process, with licenses needed now and project start possible within a year.
