Zelensky warns Russia plans new large-scale attack on Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is preparing a new large-scale attack against Ukraine, based on current intelligence information, as announced in a Telegram post today. Zelensky made the remarks following a meeting with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, emphasizing that Ukraine is in constant communication with allies to secure new air defense systems. He also insisted there can be no discussion of easing sanctions against Russia while Ukrainians face daily threats from missile and drone attacks. Russian forces have long conducted large-scale nighttime drone and missile strikes, but have recently shifted tactics to launch constant barrages throughout the day. Moscow has also deployed jet-powered drones that fly at higher altitudes and bypass air defenses, disrupting commercial activities, government operations, and daily life on a much larger scale than before in the four-and-a-half-year war.
