Zelensky tells UK's Burnham Russia is preparing a new massive attack

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new massive attack against Ukraine. Zelensky shared this information during a conversation with the British leader. Zelensky said he discussed security, protection of Ukrainians, winter preparations, and diplomatic options with Burnham. He also emphasized ongoing dialogue with partners about securing additional air defense systems, stating sanctions cannot be lifted while Ukrainians face daily missile and drone threats. The UK has announced a £100 million ($116 million) air defense package for Ukraine ahead of winter, including Patriot missiles, to be delivered through the PURL mechanism.
