Zelensky at UN: Putin is 'patient zero' of war ideology

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called Russian President Vladimir Putin the "patient zero" of war ideology spreading globally, urging the UN General Assembly on Wednesday to prevent him from acting and spreading further evil. Zelensky stated that wherever this war ideology spreads, it brings only pain, instability, new risks, and crises. He also threatened retaliatory strikes against Russia's energy system if Moscow continues attacking Ukraine's infrastructure this winter. The Ukrainian leader claimed Russia's oil industry is "on its last legs" for the first time in history, with Kyiv's goal being to undermine Russia's ability to finance the war. He cited 248,964 Russian military losses from January to August, warning that artificial intelligence could soon influence battlefield decisions.
