Trump silences Zelensky during UN press appearance

During a UN General Assembly meeting in New York, U.S. President Donald Trump dominated the press interaction, preventing Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky from speaking. Zelensky managed only a brief thank-you before Trump took over the conversation. Trump spoke about resolving the Ukraine conflict and a potential deal before winter. When journalists raised questions about Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil facilities, Zelensky attempted to interject but was silenced as Trump continued speaking. A second attempt also failed.
