Russia Strikes Major Data Centers to Cut Information Flow, Says Ukraine's Foreign Minister

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Russia attacked Ukrainian critical civilian infrastructure on September 23, targeting major data centers to disrupt the flow of vital information. Sybiha said the strikes hit infrastructure providing access to life-saving information, not military targets, and also damaged a Kyiv college while students were present. The attack killed 2 people and injured over 40 others. The minister noted the assault occurred during the UN General Assembly session focused on peace efforts, adding that stronger sanctions and more missile interceptors are the only way to stop the terror.
