Russian Drone Strikes on Kyiv Petrol Stations Kill One

Russia struck two petrol stations and other sites in Kyiv with jet-powered drones early Wednesday, killing one person and injuring seven others, according to city authorities. The attack occurred hours after President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met US President Donald Trump in New York, where they discussed a potential bilateral ceasefire on energy targets. Ukrainian oil company Ukrnafta confirmed one of its stations was hit, the sixth such facility attacked in recent weeks. Russia has shifted tactics to use faster, high-flying jet drones that are harder to intercept. Ukrainian railway infrastructure was also targeted, injuring one worker, as Zelenskiy expressed readiness for any energy ceasefire format if Moscow halts its own strikes.
