Ukraine's Zelensky warns Russia is preparing a new mass attack, citing intelligence

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new massive attack against Ukraine, as announced in his social media post. Zelensky said he discussed security matters, protection of Ukrainians, winter preparations, and diplomatic options with Burnham, adding that constant communication with partners continues on additional air defense resources. He stressed that sanctions cannot be lifted while Ukrainians face daily missile and drone threats. The UK is providing £100 million ($116 million) in air defense support for Ukraine ahead of winter, including Patriot missiles delivered through the PURL mechanism. Earlier Tuesday, Zelensky said US President Donald Trump is "positively disposed" toward granting Ukraine licenses for Patriot missile production.
