Iran tells UN it is victim of terrorism as US delegation walks out

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told the UN General Assembly that Iran is a victim of terrorism, showing photos of children killed in a school bombing and of the assassinated supreme leader, while the US delegation walked out. Pezeshkian said Iran's resistance will grow against sanctions and bullies, and that Tehran is ready for dialogue and diplomacy but will not accept the language of force. He also defended Iran's right to peaceful nuclear technology while denying any pursuit of nuclear weapons. The Iranian leader criticized the US for violating international law and warned that Iran will defend itself, including over access to the Strait of Hormuz, vowing never to bow to intimidation.
