Zelenskyy tells India at UN: Don't let Putin drag you into war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy named India among 47 countries whose citizens he alleged are being used by Russia in its war against Ukraine, during his address to the 81st UN General Assembly on Wednesday. Zelenskyy said Russia recruits people from these nations through "deception and tricks" and called on their governments to protect citizens and prevent them from being sent to the battlefield. India has confirmed 227 nationals were recruited into the Russian military, with 139 discharged and 51 killed, and is in talks with Moscow for the release of remaining personnel. The Ukrainian leader also accused North Korea of sending troops to support Russia in exchange for advanced military technology, and urged countries to restrict Russian trade and finances to limit its ability to sustain the war.
