Zelensky spoke in New York after negotiation teams met and discussed topics from his call with President Donald Trump. He cannot share specifics until receiving feedback from Russia, noting he wants to share positive news but drones and missiles still fly. A trilateral meeting with real results could occur in December at G20 in Miami. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Ukraine and Russia expressed interest in a limited ceasefire covering grain and energy. Trump has pressed Ukraine to stop striking Russian oil refineries, while Zelensky offered to halt such attacks if Russia stops hitting Ukrainian critical infrastructure.
