Russian attack on Kyiv kills 2, injures 22

The death toll from a Russian attack on Kyiv on September 23 has risen to two, with the number of injured increasing to 22. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed the updated figures. Klitschko stated that one person died in a hospital, while another was killed directly. Of the 22 injured, 16 are currently hospitalized in Kyiv medical facilities. The attack involved drones that struck a store building and a non-residential nine-story structure. Earlier reports had indicated one fatality and eight injured. The attack also included drone impacts on a transport infrastructure facility and a non-residential rooftop in the Holosiivskyi district.
