Russian drone attack on Kyiv halts rail service; strikes hit Zaporizhzhia and Odessa

A massive Russian drone attack on Kyiv at dawn has suspended the city's urban railway service, with strikes and fires reported across several districts. Debris from downed drones fell on residential buildings and a transport company, while two gas stations were destroyed. The overnight assault involved 161 drones across various Ukrainian regions. Separately, a Russian strike hit the Amstor shopping mall in Zaporizhzhia, injuring two men, and an attack on a merchant ship in Odessa port killed its Ukrainian commander. In Izyum, guided bombs wounded seven people, including an 11-year-old child. Russia's Defense Ministry reported intercepting 514 Ukrainian drones overnight across 18 regions, occupied Crimea, and the Black Sea. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed a drone hit a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district, where a warehouse also caught fire.
