Kremlin promises safe passage for Zelensky if he visits Moscow for talks

The Kremlin has promised to guarantee Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's safety if he travels to Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin to negotiate an end to the war. Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov stated Zelensky "knows perfectly well what decisions need to be made" to resolve the conflict. Peskov also said Putin remains available to meet Donald Trump, though no date is set, and that a summit requires prior expert-level preparation. Peskov accused Ukraine of "terrorist activities" and criticized European nations, particularly the UK, for promoting "Russophobic sentiment," while calling for a fight against disinformation which he claims is worsening tensions with Moscow.
