Russia downs 514 Ukrainian drones across 20 regions

Russia's air defenses shot down 514 Ukrainian drones across roughly twenty regions overnight, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The unmanned aerial vehicles were downed in the border regions of Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk, as well as in Bashkiria and Tatarstan, located 1,700 and 1,200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Kursk's governor reported nearly 200 drones neutralized there and 45 artillery attacks, resulting in one death and three injuries on Tuesday. Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the war has since cost hundreds of thousands of civilian and military lives in both countries, according to various sources.
