Zelensky: Russia struck Kyiv during US congressmen talks on sanctions bill

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv during his meeting with US congressmen to discuss the "Graham law" and tightening sanctions against Russia. Zelensky stated the strike occurred as he discussed the bill with US lawmakers Brian Fitzpatrick, Michael Quigley, Marcy Kaptur, Jared Golden, Joe Wilson, and Gregory Meeks. He argued that Russia will not end the war without pressure and called for ballistic missile interceptors and sanctions against Russia and its financial supporters. Zelensky emphasized that each such attack happens because pressure on the aggressor has not become total, allowing Russia to continue relying on ballistic terror. He thanked both US parties for their readiness to help protect lives.
