Massive ballistic missile strike hits Kyiv energy and weapons depots

A massive ballistic missile strike was carried out on Kyiv, targeting energy facilities and weapons depots, according to the Telegram channel Shot on Thursday, September 24. Explosions began around 1 a.m., with over a dozen blasts reported. Fires and electrical flashes were visible, and some districts experienced water and power outages. Powerful explosions were also reported in Odesa and near the bridge in the village of Mayaky, Odesa Oblast, though there is no official confirmation. The Russian Defense Ministry previously stated it struck the New-Telco data processing center in Kyiv, a key internet traffic exchange hub for Ukraine's Defense Ministry. On the night of September 21-22, Russian forces also hit Ukrainian port infrastructure in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Odesa oblasts, as well as naval vessels used by the Ukrainian army.
