Zelensky Condemns Russian Drone Attacks on Kyiv, Eight Regions Hit

Zelensky stated that Russia continues to turn civilian and critical infrastructure into targets, including pharmaceutical enterprises, gas stations, railways, communication facilities, and shopping centers. He expressed condolences to the victims' families and noted that most of the drones launched were jet-powered. The president emphasized ongoing work at the UN General Assembly to secure support for Ukraine and strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia. He said partners agree this is no time for weakness, and sanctions should signal Russia and its oligarchs to end the war rather than wait it out.
