Russian air defense intercepted 40 Ukrainian drones overnight across seven regions, with debris damaging an oil depot in the Rostov area, according to the Defense Ministry. No casualties were reported. The ministry reported the drones were shot down between 8 p.m. September 23 and 8 a.m. September 24 over Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Tver, Rostov regions, Krasnodar Krai, and Crimea. In Rostov's Kagalnitsky district, drone debris damaged administrative buildings at an oil depot, with no fire or injuries. In Krasnodar Krai, debris from a downed drone caused a fire at an industrial enterprise, which was extinguished by 8:46 a.m. with no casualties. Moscow and northwestern regions were not targeted in this attack.
