Ukrainian air defense intercepts 227 Russian targets in overnight attack

On the night of September 24, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Zircon anti-ship missiles, ballistic missiles, and 282 drones. Ukrainian air defense shot down or suppressed 227 targets, including four Zircon missiles and three ballistic missiles. The attack targeted Odesa and Kyiv regions. Air defense intercepted 219 drones of various types and one Banderol/Dan-T munition. Strikes were recorded at 13 locations, with debris falling at 10 sites. In Kyiv, several waves of explosions occurred, with debris falling in multiple districts, resulting in casualties. In Odesa, a medical facility's roof was damaged, and windows were blown out in ten nearby residential buildings and a school.
