Kyiv ballistic attack kills one, leaves people trapped under rubble

A Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight killed one person and injured two others, with debris partially destroying a private house in the Dnipro district where people may be trapped under the rubble. The debris also fell into the yards of a 16-story building and a private home, as well as onto an administrative building, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. Emergency services are working at the scene, and both injured people have been hospitalized. In the Podil district, debris hit a parking lot near a medical facility, causing cars to catch fire. The attack follows a previous strike on September 23 that killed at least two residents and injured 45, with drones hitting residential and commercial areas across multiple districts. The Center for Countering Disinformation had warned in advance of Russia's preparation for a new ballistic strike.
