A Russian strike on the residential sector of Odesa on September 24 damaged 17 private houses, injured three people including a child, and caused a fire. The attack in the Kyivskyi district blew out windows and damaged roofs and doors. Emergency services extinguished a fire on the attic floor of a five-story building, and a truck was destroyed. Local authorities said affected residents can apply for compensation through the state "eRestoration" program and the city's "Unbreakable Odesa" initiative. The overnight attack also targeted civilian infrastructure with aerial bombs and drones.
