Kyiv missile remnants found near high-rises; warhead did not explode

Rescuers in Kyiv found remnants of a Russian Iskander-M missile near residential high-rises after a nighttime attack; the warhead did not detonate. Two people were killed in the capital, and eight were injured. The State Emergency Service reported that sappers removed the safe remnants using heavy pyrotechnic equipment and transported them for disposal. A woman died en route to a shelter, and a man died in an underground crossing. Over 50 civilian objects were damaged, including homes and a textile enterprise. Ukrainian air defenses reportedly shot down or suppressed 227 aerial targets overnight, including ballistic missiles. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Russia launched the attack in three waves, with Kyiv intercepting 60% of the ballistic missiles.
