Russian forces attacked Khmelnytskyi with Shahed drones overnight on September 24, striking a residential apartment building, according to regional governor Serhiy Tiurin. No casualties have been reported so far. Air defense systems were active in the region, with Tiurin confirming interceptions. The broader overnight assault involved missiles and 282 drones across Ukraine, targeting Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Odesa. Two people died in the capital from ballistic missile strikes, with 227 targets reportedly shot down or suppressed by 08:00.
