Two people were killed and ten wounded in Russian missile and drone attacks on Kyiv early Tuesday, Ukrainian authorities said, ending a three-day pause in strikes on the capital. The attacks resumed after US officials visited Kyiv on Sunday. Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned of ballistic missiles, with explosions reported across the city. Poland conducted preventive military operations, briefly closing Lublin airport, while strikes also hit Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. Russia launched dozens of missiles and 166 drones, according to Ukraine's air force. A Ukrainian drone attack also damaged civilian infrastructure in Russia's Saratov region, where injuries were reported.
