Ukraine plans September and October for diplomatic push, Zelensky says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine wants to use September and October to revive the diplomatic process, proposing the UN General Assembly in New York as a possible venue for further US-Ukraine talks. Zelensky said a new round of trilateral talks between the US, Ukraine, and Russia is possible, though no decision has been made. He stated that without dialogue there will be no result and expressed hope that President Trump can start negotiations before winter. Zelensky said Putin expects winter to weaken Ukraine and force further concessions, but Kyiv has already made all possible compromises.
