Russian missile strike on Kyiv damages homes and school

On the night of September 8, Kyiv was struck by a Russian missile attack, damaging residential buildings and an educational facility, with people possibly trapped inside. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a fire at a school in the Holosiivskyi district and potentially blocked residents in a house. Fires also broke out in non-residential areas in the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts. Debris fell on a five-story and a three-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district, damaged a car in Darnytskyi, and ignited a warehouse in Solomianskyi.
