Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts wound two, spark fire

Russian forces attacked Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts on Sunday, September 6, wounding two civilians and causing a large fire at an infrastructure facility, according to Ukrainian officials. In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, nearly 20 strikes hit four districts using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. Two men were injured in the Nikopol district; a 76-year-old was hospitalized in moderate condition, while a 57-year-old will receive outpatient treatment. Residential buildings, a car, a food warehouse, and a logistics company building were damaged. In Kyiv Oblast's Fastov district, a major infrastructure fire was extinguished by emergency services. Ukraine's armed forces reported shooting down or suppressing 88 of 108 targets, with 11 impacts and debris falling in seven locations. Separately, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a three-day pause on strikes against Kyiv.
