Russian attack on Kyiv damages seven districts, metro station

A Russian attack on Kyiv on September 8 damaged buildings in seven districts, killing two people and injuring ten others, with damage including residential buildings, a school, a hospital, and a metro station entrance. The attack, which involved ballistic missiles and drones, caused the most casualties in the Solomianskyi district, where eight people aged 22 to 65 were injured. At least 14 high-rise buildings, a dormitory, a school, a clinic, 25 cars, a supermarket, a gas station, and warehouses were damaged across the capital. Fires broke out at warehouse facilities in several districts, and debris fell on a residential building where people were trapped, as well as on an unfinished 26-story building. Emergency services are working at the impact sites.
