At least eight people were killed and 69 injured in Russian airstrikes targeting the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, according to reports. The attack reportedly involved 108 drones, of which 82 were intercepted, along with six missiles, per Kyiv Independent. The strikes occurred despite an agreement not to attack capitals during US envoy visits, and did not hit Kyiv city itself. The attacks came as American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv for peace talks, following their meeting with President Putin in Moscow, which both sides described as containing concrete plans.
