An air alert was declared before the strikes due to a drone threat, with authorities urging residents to take shelter. Air defense systems were active in the city, and the military warned of a high-speed target approaching from Sumy region. The attack follows a drone strike on Kyiv region on September 7 that destroyed seven trucks and hit a logistics complex. Earlier, Shahed drones burned a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia, causing a large fire across 700 square meters.
