Russia strikes Kyiv after three-day pause in attacks

Russia launched new strikes against Kyiv early Tuesday, ending a three-day pause in attacks that had been observed during a visit by US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Ukrainian authorities reported. Air defenses were activated in the capital, with industrial buildings hit in the Boryspil and Fastiv districts on the city's outskirts. Fires broke out at enterprises, seven trucks burned, and a logistics complex was damaged, according to the emergency service. The US visit aimed to revive peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow, but talks ended without progress on ending the war. Kyiv has faced massive Russian drone and ballistic missile attacks in recent weeks.
